This is the step-by-step tutorial for Bitmain Antminer D7 flashing.

Part I: Preparing Tools

1. Hardware includes a computer with the Windows operating system, a TF card reader, and a TF card.

2. Software: Antminer D7 Card Flashing firmware, WINRAR-recommended decompression tool.

Part II: Make TF Card

1. Right-click the firmware and select the unzip file to unzip the downloaded firmware.

2. When a new dialog box appears after selecting the decompressed file, simply click OK.

3. A folder with the same name as the compressed package will appear following decompression. The unzipped folder can now be used.

4. The memory card should be placed inside the card reader, which should then be placed inside the computer’s USB port.

5. Following insertion, the computer will prompt the new device, show the drive letter associated with this TF card (which is E), and record the drive letter.

6. Format the inserted memory card to FAT32, locate the disk that corresponds to the TF card (the drive letter E just recorded, i.e., the E disk), and then select Format from the context menu of the right-clicking menu.

7. After clicking format, a new dialog box will pop up (as shown in the figure below), in the drop-down menu of “File System”, select FAT32 (the default is FAT32), and then click “Start” to prepare for formatting.

8. A dialog box asking you to confirm the deletion of all data will appear before formatting begins. You can save any important data first. If there is no important data, click “OK” to open the unzipped folder, select all and copy all the files in the folder. The internal files of the decompressed file are as follows:

9. It is not particularly difficult to format. There won’t typically be a response for two seconds after clicking confirm. You’ll have to wait some time. When the formatting is finished, you will be prompted and given the option to confirm it once the progress bar has reached its final position.

10. The TF card has now been prepared, and it is ready to be used. Select all of the files in the decompressed folder, then open it and copy them all. There are the following internal files in the decompressed file.

11. Copy the file to the TF card’s root directory.

12. Verify the file name, file size, and total number of files to make sure the content of the TF card matches the figure after copying.

13. The TF card is finished following confirmation. You can now take the TF card out of the computer and use it.

Part III: Brush

  1. Place the prepared TF card into the miner (or separate control board) and turn it off.3-1.png

3. After the power is turned on, the indicator lights’ status is as follows: the green light is always on, the two other lights are always on for 3-5 seconds, then they go off for 10 seconds.

4. Since the green light is always on, the Card Flashing has ended. You can now turn off the device and take out the TF card. You must first press the memory card inward so that it partially pops out before attempting to remove it.

5. Restart the control board after unplugging the TF card, then log in to the background to see if it is the Card Flashing version.
