This is the online upgrade tutorial for the Bitmain Antminer D7.
1. Preparing Tools
• Hardware includes a computer (Windows), a mining device (or control board), and a router.
• Software includes IPReporter, Chrome (or Firefox), the most recent Antminer D7 firmware
2. Login to the Miner
• Connect the computer to the router. Connect the mining machine (or control board) to the router as well. The router should enable the DHCP service. The computer and mining machine should be on the same network segment.) .
• Click Start to get going after opening IPReproter on your computer.
• When you press the IPReprot button on the miner or control board, the miner’s light will flash red and green five times to show that the IP has been successfully fed to the network.
• The IP and MAC of this machine will appear after the miner feeds back the IP to the PC side’s IPReporter software. the IP is what we need.
• Open Google Chrome and then enter the obtained IP address into the browser’s address bar.
• It will prompt you for your user name and password. The default user name and password are root. Use your chosen username and password to log in if you changed it yourself.
3. Miner Upgrade
• The firmware upgrade is tucked away under the system dropdown menu once you’ve accessed the miner’s backend, as you’ll notice. After the system, you must tap the drop-down menu to open it, and then, after clicking Firmware Upgrade, enter the firmware upgrade screen.
• In order to access the file selection window and locate the pre-made firmware path, click the Upload button (1) in the firmware upgrade screen. Open the relevant firmware by selecting it (3) and executing it (4).
• The firmware name will appear in the window behind the firmware file after the selected firmware has been opened. Verify that the firmware is correct and tap to upgrade the firmware if necessary.
• The firmware upgrade will begin after you click “Upgrade Firmware,” at which point the miner will upgrade the firmware and reboot, which will take about a minute.
• After updating the firmware, the miner will automatically restart, and this page will be refreshed, signaling that the upgrade is complete.
• The miner’s firmware version is compared to the upgraded firmware version after the upgrade is finished to determine whether it matches; if it does, the upgrade was successful.
