There are three ways to reset Bitmain Antminer D7 to factory settings:
1. Restore Via “Reset” Button
When the miner boots, this method can be used within ten minutes.
After powering on the miner for 2 minutes, please press “Reset” button for 5 seconds, then release it. There is no need to turn off the miner because it will automatically restart and return to factory settings in 4 minutes.
Note that the reset is only effective if the mining device has been running for 2 to 10 minutes; after that, it cannot be recovered.
2. Restore Via Web Side
17 series recovery methods
Log in to your miner user interface, click “Upgrade” > >”Perform reset”, then click “OK” on the pop up window.
19 series recovery methods
Log in to your miner user interface,Click “Restore factory settings” in the lower right corner and select “Restore factory settings” in the pop-up selection box, then wait for a reboot.
3. Restore Via “IP Report” Button (For ANTMINER S9 Series, T9, T9+)
After turning off the miner, hold down the IP Reporter and don’t let go of it. Power on the mine once more in unison. After 5 seconds, the device will automatically return to its factory default settings after being released from the IP Reporter.
*Note: According to this method of factory reset, the S9 and T9 must be connected to the internet in order to update to the most recent Antminer D7 firmware on the official website.
The Bitmain Antminer D7 with the SD card next to the Ethernet interface is not compatible with this technique.
The miner’s original firmware will be present after being reset. Update the Antminer D7 firmware.
